Transgender Truth: A Straightforward Conversation
Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:00pm
Join us at Brecksville Community Center, as we gather in a non-judgmental space to discuss the facts about the transgender experience. We will cover issues, challenges and lived expriences through Q &A and respectful dialogue.
• Local psychologist specializing in gender diverse adults
• MetroHealth Physician practicing Family Medicine and Gender Care
• Executive Director of TransOhio a trans-led advocacy organization
• Motivational Speaker discussing lived experience within the transgender community
Our transgender friends have never needed understanding more than now, please attend with an open mind and heart. Come ready to ask questions and gain understanding with compassionate experts and members of the community willing to share with you.
This event will be held in person.

We highly encourage in person attendance at the event, as it fosters engagement and connection for attendees and affirms support for the Transgender Community.
That being said, we realize that there are situations that prevent folx from attending in person. So, we are opening up the opportunity to join the session virtually.

This powerful workshop hosted By Brecksville United Methodist Church will offer:
- Background information regarding LGBTQ+ topics and inclusive language
- Education and interactive sessions to help you deepen your own self- awareness and understanding
- Practical ways to advocate for our LGBTQ+ friends, family and neighbors
- Action items to help you stand in solidarity and help make change
